Keeper Talks with the Animals

One-on-one interaction with trained zoo professionals gives visitors a very real and personal glimpse into the lives of the keepers and animals alike. The Talks are the perfect way to hear fun stories and learn interesting facts about the animals and get insight to what life is like as a zoo keeper. Schedules are subject to change. Family Shows at a Working Butterfly Farm

Come and visit a real working butterfly farm! Your visit begins with a fun, fast-paced skit using kids from the audience. You will learn about the lifecycle of a Monarch butterfly, then see eggs, caterpillars, chrysalises and adult Monarchs in the flight house! All visitors are encouraged to hand-feed the butterflies for an up-close look. Picnic tables available.

Family shows are first-come, first-serve. We suggest arriving at least 20 minutes before the start of a show to get parked...
