This high-octane, multi-media, concert event combines drama, real-life stories, and music from award-winning artists including: • Hawk Nelson (2009 Grammy nominee, Billboard chart toppers, appeared on NBC's “American Dreams”, had a cameo appearance in the hit Nickelodeon film “Yours, Mine, & Ours,” where they played their original song “Bring Em Out,” as well as had their songs featured on NBC's 2006 Stanley Cup promo spots, WB's Smallville, Summerland, & Laguna Beach) • Natalie Grant (GMA's reigning Female Vocalist of the Year for the 3rd year in a row) • Krystal Meyers (featured on commercials during the Olympic Games) In addition, the tour also welcomes fourteen year old Austin Gutwein, founder of Hoops of Hope charity who will tell his story and encourage others to participate in his cause. Austin is an exceptional young boy with a vision: at the young age of 9 he recognized that there was a need to help raise funds in order to provide health care to children impacted by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Now in its fifth year, the organization Austin created - Hoops of Hope –has engaged thousands of children and teens across the country in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to help other children in Africa – Over 380 girls signed up to do a Hoops of Hope event during a recent stop on the Revolve Tour in Spokane, Washington. 'All the fun and craziness of the event has a purpose: it gets the girls' attention so we can address the reality of what girls deal with today. So many of them struggle with self-esteem, relationships, and wanting to know their lives have purpose. We can help with that,' said Amy Chandy, Vice President of Live Events for The Revolve Tour. Teens who have attended previous Revolve Tour events agree. 'You guys rule! You guys changed my view in life and in God! I am going to treat myself like a treasure and not a target anymore,' said Angel, a Revolve Tour attendee. Elizabeth appreciated the fast-paced emotional roller-coaster that characterizes The Revolve Tour events: 'I was not bored for one second. I laughed and I bawled my eyes out.' More than 215,000 girls have attended a Revolve Tour event since it launched in 2005. The 2008/2009 Tour presents an all-new program in 16 cities across the US and expects to reach ',000. Seats are still available for the January 23rd and January 24th event at the Arena at Greensboro Coliseum.
