 hat allows participants to raise money for their favorite nonprofit organi
 zation (agency\, church\, school PTA\, etc.).  In the past 15 years\, hund
 reds of local nonprofits have raised more than $3.5 million through the Tr
 iad's Human Race. On Race Day\, fundraisers gather at Grimsley High School
  to walk\, run\, or roll in support of their chosen nonprofit.  You can pa
 rticipate in The Human Race as an individual fundraiser or work together a
 s a Walking Team. Race Day features a 5K walk and competitive run\, free f
 ood\, live music\, prizes\, and other activities.  The Triad's local Human
  Race is planned\, managed\, and promoted by The Volunteer Center of Green
 sboro\, Inc.\, a nonprofit that strengthens our community by connecting pe
