 ork (TICN) on Thursday\, July 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship H
 all of Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in Greensboro. Refreshments wil
 l be provided.\nNewcomers are especially encouraged to come at 5:30 to rec
 eive an introduction to intentional communities and our group\, but all ar
 e welcome at that time to visit and enjoy the fabulous company. Please con
 sider joining us at 5:30 and bringing anything fresh from your garden\, or
  perhaps extras from a farmers' market\, to share with friends. Do you hav
 e veggies\, fruit\, herbs\, flowers\, or plants to share? If there should 
 be any leftovers\, they will be donated to the free Friday food pantry at 
 the Hive.\n\nOur regular meeting will begin promptly at 6:00. We have 2 sp
 eakers for July. Elaine Larson\, with Wilkinson & Associates Real Estate\,
  will speak on local housing availabilities for intentional communities --
 - something sizable\, yet affordable for co-housing needs. She will explor
 e possibilities for stimulus grants available locally and she will bring s
 ome multiple listing sheets. Angela Stewart\, of Hand Up Home Ownership In
 itiative\, Inc. (a non-profit organization established for the sole purpos
 e of educating\, training and assisting to make home ownership a reality f
 or all who qualify regardless of current housing status).will speak about 
 home buying and ownership. Her presentation will include tips about mortga
 ge qualifications\, documentation\, home buying processes\, and how to pay
  off mortgages in less time.\n\nThe Triad Intentional Communities Network 
 (TICN) brings together people who are exploring paradigms that offer affor
 dable alternatives to living in isolation or institutionalized settings\, 
 especially as we age. We usually meet monthly at the Presbyterian Church o
 f the Covenant\, a large building at the corner of Mendenhall and Walker. 
 To find the fellowship hall\, where we meet\, park at the back of the chur
 ch\, in front of the entrance labeled 'After Gateway'. The door to the fel
 lowship hall\, which is to the left of the After Gateway portion of the bu
 ilding\, and is across from the entrance to the church office\, will be un
